Top West Van issues as determined by survey of WV residents published in July 2022

  • Issue rank 01:  Traffic generally & Traffic on Upper Levels HIghway ... at times it would be impossible to get to Lions Gate Hospital in an emergency

  • Issue rank 02: Property Tax Increase at three times inflation rate over last 5 years & Utility fees rising at 7% per year

  • Issue rank 03:  Population Growth by densification of WestVan (new multi story residential & more houses on current lots)

  • Issue rank 04: Council Disrespect and/or ignoring of WestVan residents opinions

  • Issue rank 05: $38 million dollar proposed arts centre
