Legal Stuff: BC Election Law has very strict rules about donations.

  1. Only people can donate (not organizations, companies, or societies).

  2. Legally CiviX can not issue income tax receipts.

  • donor maximum contribution is $1,200 per calendar year

  • donor must be a BC Resident; and

  • donor must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident

  • donor must provide their residential address
